SPLASH (kurz fΓΌr SPectraL hASH) ist ein eindeutiger Bezeichner fΓΌr ein MolekΓΌl, der sich aus dessen Massenspektrum ableitet. Er entstand daher, weil Datenbanken fΓΌr Massenspektren unabhΓ€ngig voneinander gepflegt wurden, jedoch untereinander teils redundant sind. Der SPLASH ist eindeutig, datenbankunabhΓ€ngig und lΓ€sst sich Γ€hnlich wie ein InChIKey gut ablegen und durchsuchen. UnterstΓΌtzung fΓΌr SPLASH wurde initial in den Datenbanken MassBank, MoNA, GNPS, HMDB, MetaboLights und mzCloud sowie der Software MZmine, MS-DIAL, RMassBank, BinBase, Bioclipse und dem ΓΌbergreifenden Mass Spectrometry Development Kit (MSDK) integriert.cite-ref-1[1]
